Salary: £14.52 per hour, rising to £15.29 per hour from 1st April
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a passionate team in a children’s residential home. You will assist in achieving the aims and objectives of the home’s Statement of Purpose, deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager, and support the team in providing exceptional care for young people.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a children’s residential home
Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Act, and National Minimum Standards
Team leadership and staff management skills
Desirable:
Management qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Additional training in counselling, supervision, or drugs awareness
