Are you a Payroll professional offering experience working within an accountancy practice or bureau? Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be recently appointed to work in partnership with an incredible client who are looking to recruit an ambitious Payroll Administrator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Within this role you will be responsible for processing payrolls, managing queries, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, and supporting the team in delivering a seamless service. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in maintaining the high standards. Your main responsibilities will include: Preparation of accounts for a range of limited, partnership and sole trader businesses Ensuring accuracy is provided for all clients including tax computations Plan and schedule work to ensure it is completed on time and within dedicated timescales and budget Ensure all Companies House filling deadlines are met Present managers with complete sets of accounts Clearing review points and making adjustments to accounts Build and maintain strong client relationships Liaise with tax department Provide demonstrations, set ups and training for clients using Xero (once knowledge is gained) Keep up to date with any changes across the business, legislations and technical knowledge To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience: Processing weekly, and monthly payroll for clients in accordance with RIT Calculating SSP, SMP and all other adjustments Dealing with all payroll queries for a portfolio of clients and for more complex payroll queries from the team Process all starters and leavers Submitting all year end requirements Knowledge of SPPA or a desire to learn Compliance with auto enrolment guidelines To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for the following: Previous experience working within an accountancy firm or bureau CIS knowledge Knowledge of STAR/IRIS payroll software is preferred Strong time management skills and ability to work to deadlines Excellent organisational capability Great attention to detail and analytical skills Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Genuine passion to support clients and business growth Reward: Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9-5pm Salary will be discussed at time of application Full Time, permanent contract Core Hours of Work are between 10am to 2.30pm Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office / 2 working from home Salary – Excellent and will be discussed at time of application Generous holiday allowance Pension Income Protection Next Steps: For further information, please apply by emailing your CV to Utopian Professional Recruitment ASAP.
