This position is open to candidates based anywhere within the UK and will involve frequent travel across the country to customer sites.

Maintenance of vertical baggers, packaging machinery (thermoformers) and other various equipment across the GEA portfolio range within the UK and Ireland.
Assist with converting enquiries into sales, ensuring timely and accurate information to customers.
Self-manage the coordination of maintenance activities and upgrades for bagging and packaging equipment, always prioritizing customer needs.
Take direction from the back office service coordinator and manage service operations on-site while keeping customer satisfaction a top priority.
Be available for on-call duties, including 24/7 availability as required, providing responsive support to customers as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a customer-focused approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
Address customer concerns promptly, acting as the key point of contact for any technical issues or maintenance needs.
Drive the sales of spare parts, maintenance services, and upgrades in line with customer expectations and company targets.
Stay current with health and safety regulations in the UK and Ireland, ensuring all work meets regulatory and customer standards.
Foster a culture of trust, communication, accountability, recognition, and development, both individually and within the team, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
NVQ3, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering with Mechanical Engineering experience.
Self-confidence and assurance in handling complex technical tasks.
Strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach.
Analytical and technically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues efficiently.
Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
Positive attitude with the ability to evaluate situations dynamically and work on solutions.
