eXmoor helps clients with their manufacturing of cell and gene therapies (CGT) and biopharmaceuticals. We provide:
1. translation consultancy to close the gap between R&D and clinical manufacture,

4. GMP manufacturing for early phase clinical trials.
We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to support sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations at the Cell & Gene Therapy Centre, Bristol. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of critical materials, consumables, and services for process development and clinical manufacturing of ATMPs (Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products).

Job Description: Job Purpose:
The Procurement Coordinator will support the Procurement and Warehouse team with purchasing and inventory management activities on behalf of the Process Development (PD) and GMP Operations teams at eXmoor. The Coordinator is responsible for the sourcing of materials and services in a cost-effective manner, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines as required.
Main areas of responsibility/key duties:
* You will support with procurement activities for materials, consumables, and reagents required for PD and GMP Operations teams.
* You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan the procurement and management of project and overhead consumables, equipment, and services.
* You will support with any supplier communications, including but not limited to supplier onboarding, lodging complaints, and resolution of issues.
* You will utilise procurement and inventory management systems to manage purchase orders.
* You will comply with GMP Warehouse Controls to manage the receipt, storage, and handling of materials.
* You will ensure all procurement operations comply with EU GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
* You will support audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining accurate procurement records.
* You will comply with PD and GMP documentation including risk assessments, SOPs, COSHH forms, lab notebooks, and records.
* You will comply with safety documentation to ensure the safe delivery, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
* You will fully participate in all training sessions as required.
Personal Specification Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* 3+ years of proven experience in procurement.
* Experience of working with procurement and inventory management systems such as MyAmici and/or ERP systems or equivalent.
* Experience in supplier relationship management and sourcing.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* BSc in a Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
* In-depth knowledge and clear understanding of EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
* Experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceuticals industry or equivalent.
* Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualifications.
