We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support to join Teaching Personnel to support a specialist secondary SEMH school in Preston. This is an incredible opportunity to support students who require additional guidance to reach their full potential.
About the Role:
✔️ Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
✔️ Managing challenging behaviours and implementing positive behaviour strategies.
✔️ Building strong relationships to foster confidence and self-esteem.
✔️ Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
✔️ Promoting emotional regulation and well-being among students.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working with young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours (preferred but not essential).
✅ Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
✅ A calm, patient, and positive approach.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
✅ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
