Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist alternative provision in Peterborough. This is a full-time role beginning in January 2025.
About the role
The school is a highly successful specialist school with pupils aged up to 16 with a broad range of SEN and behavioural challenges. They have a thorough approach to treating every pupil as an individual through their flexible and holistic curriculum.
Requirements
1. Experience or knowledge of working with children and young people with additional needs
2. Ability to communicate effectively within a team
3. Flexibility, proactivity, and patience

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
Minimum Experience, Training or Qualifications Required
1. Recent experience working with children in the last two years
2. A DBS on the update service or willingness to process one with us
3. Completion or willingness to complete relevant safeguarding training
Salary
GBP415 to GBP515 per week. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
