AccuBio Ltd. (manufacturers of In vitro Medical Devices) are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager.
Sales Manager - Job Purpose:
As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business through expanding sales of existing accounts and new leads as well as managing sales graduates to achieve their goals and targets.
You will be collaborating with the sales/marketing team to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales growth in line with company expectations and forecasts.
Sales Manager - Main Responsibilities:
• Sell and promote products and services to new and existing client base
• Proactively search for new leads
• Manage distribution network and strategic partners for territory
• Build productive strategic networks and relationships with key stakeholders
• Actively interact with customers, partners, and stakeholders, collecting information on their needs and feedback and providing assistance in improvements of existing products.
• Manage relationships with existing and potential customers and partners and provide or coordinate all necessary support as required.
• Create a positive working environment for sales teams reporting to you, that facilitates employee engagement and a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor all territory KPI’s and implement or improve strategies, policies and procedures as required to meet agreed targets.
• Plan and manage all territory expenditure within agreed budgets.
• Develop and maintain productive and professional relationships with colleagues, customers and other third parties.
Sales Manager – People Management Responsibilities:
• Lead by example and demonstrate consistent, good HR practice and people management.
• Motivate team to achieve potential through PDR’s, regular 1:1’s and training or development.
General Areas of Responsibility:
• Carry out all duties and responsibilities to the company standard within the timescales required
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain compliance with QMS policies and procedures
• Maintain compliance with GDPR and Cyber Security policies and procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required
Sales Manager – Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential:
• Science/Healthcare Graduate,
• Proven track record in driving UK sales of IVDs,
• Distributor management,
• Developing inexperienced sales team,
• Knowledge of UK IVD market,
• Contract Management process,
• Experience with selling immunoassay (lateral flow) products/market,
• Advanced Office 365 skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word),
• Management and Leadership,
• Attention to detail,
• Exceptional relationship builder,
• Good organisation skills,
• Good communication and negotiation skills,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
• Business Diploma,
• Reviewing/reconciling commercial contracts,
• B2C/Healthcare sales channels,
• NHS Supply contract/tenders
• CRM
• Experience with selling Molecular products
