Job Description SEN Case Officer - PFA Initial 3 months Interim Contract (With View to Extend) £280 per day (Via Umbrella) Inside IR35, Full Time London, Local Authority This is an excellent opportunity for a SEN Case Officer with PFA experience to join a Local Authority and assist the Education Department for an initial period of 3 months with the view to extend beyond this. Essential Skills & Abilities Experience as a PFA SEN Case Officer is essential. Knowledge and understanding of the legislation relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Knowledge and understanding of the Education system from 16 – 25 years, whilst being comfortable with talking to people within this age range Knowledge and understanding of recent developments in the field of SEN and Disabilities, and the education landscape and context. Practical experience in a relevant field to include working with parents, families and education providers Job Role To support the Local Authority with their case load of people from 16-25 years old. Processing Annual Reviews - You will be required to complete all statutory assessment processes and all EHC case work. You have an associated caseload that you will take ownership of throughout the contract.
