What will you do as an Academic Support Officer?
You will be the second point of contact for the students and parents, especially in relation to the day-to-day working of the Academy Behaviour Management Policy - supporting students and families in equal measure.
You will work with the students to support personal, social, and academic development and promote their well-being within each Key Stage.
You will assist in maintaining links with home, internal, and external support services involved with student welfare and safety.
Role Overview:
Position: Academic Support Officer
Salary: £25,000
Start Date: September 2024
Working Hours: Monday - Friday – Term Time
Responsibilities: Support teachers covering lessons where necessary.

Specification:
1. Degree within Education or Psychology
2. Strong A-Level results
3. Good written & oral skills
4. Ideally previous experience with SEMH / PSHE
5. Knowledge of career paths and/or higher education & willingness to learn more.
6. Must be able to motivate & inspire the younger generation.
