Key Responsibilities:
4. Lesson Planning: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.
5. Student Assessment: Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help each child reach their potential.
6. Inclusive Teaching: Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
7. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
8. Parental Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
9. Policy Implementation: Implement and uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to behavior management and safeguarding.
10. Professional Participation: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
11. School Contribution: Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
What We’re Looking For:
12. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
13. Experience: Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS1.
14. Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
15. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Adaptability: Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
17. Commitment: Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
18. Subject Specialism: Expertise in a particular subject area (, phonics, literacy, numeracy).
19. SEN Experience: Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
20. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
