The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Sales Manager is to be the point of contact for key accounts while overseeing and developing the account management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and competency satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
1. Retain and sell key lawn and landscape maintenance contracts.
2. Upsell plant health care, arbor, enhancement, snow removal, and other services.
3. Ensure client and company quality-of-work standards are being met.
4. Develop positive relationships with key clients, establishing clear, frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication.
5. Develop mutual trust with clients by demonstrating the ability to exceed expectations.
6. Prepare and present proposals in a timely and professional manner, according to company standards.
7. Track all proposals in progress, and pursue and follow up to closure.
8. Participate in various events, organizations, and industry associations to build relationships.
9. Develop community ties to enhance the Weller Brothers brand.
10. Assist the Branch Manager with monitoring the operations team and provide suggestions for improvements.
11. Provide Operations Managers information regarding job prioritization and assist with scheduling.
12. Execute site audits, and present maintenance service and landscape enhancement opportunities to the clients.
13. Act as liaison between client and operations teams.
14. Develop and maintain professional relationships with operations team members.
15. Report time and productivity daily using LMN.
16. Track expenses according to company policy.
17. Work the hours necessary to ensure the jobs are being completed on time, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
18. Maintain a clean and professionally appearing company vehicle.
19. Manage the sales process from prospecting through sale and transition accounts/projects to appropriate account management and/or operations team.
20. Create vertical market development plans; make recommendations regarding actions, including cooperative selling efforts.
21. Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
22. Other duties as needed to help drive and fulfill the Weller Brothers Mission.
23. Promote The Weller Brothers Way through demonstration of our Roots, Safety, Quality, Communication, Win The Day.
Required Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience
Post High School degree or experience equivalent.
Proven track record of successful sales leadership.
2–4 years of management & motivation experience.
Physical Requirements
* LIGHT MEDIUM WORK:Lifting up to 30 pounds; frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Specific schedules will be determined based on weather and the general needs of the business.
