Key Responsibilities: Property Management: Oversee day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties in Edgware and surrounding areas. Tenant Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring all queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Landlord Communication: Regularly update landlords on property status, maintenance issues, and any relevant changes. Provide expert advice on market trends, rental pricing, and investment opportunities. Lease Management: Draft, review, and renew tenancy agreements, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections, identifying and addressing maintenance or compliance issues in a timely manner. Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and manage repairs and maintenance work, liaising with contractors and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and within budget. Rent Collection & Arrears Management: Oversee rent collection, ensuring timely payment and dealing with arrears in accordance with company procedures. Legal Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with the latest regulations, including gas safety, electrical safety, and fire safety. Keep up to date with changes in property law and regulations. Financial Management: Monitor property budgets, track income and expenditure, and prepare financial reports for landlords. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both tenants and landlords, resolving issues efficiently and professionally. Key Skills & Experience: Previous Experience: At least 2-3 years’ experience in residential property management, ideally in the London market. Knowledge of Legislation: In-depth knowledge of residential tenancy laws, health and safety regulations, and property management best practices. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both tenants and landlords. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities effectively, ensuring deadlines and tasks are met consistently. Problem Solving: Proactive approach to resolving issues and troubleshooting problems before they escalate.
