About the role:
We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our vans delivering, our customers' products picked and packed, and our proprietary technology operating at optimum levels.
That’s why we now have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Excellence Manager to join our team. This role is integral to delivering Ocado Logistics' broader Supply Chain Strategy by deploying key initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring seamless alignment between Supply Chain and Commercial activity. You will work cross-functionally with Programme teams, Logistics, Commercial stakeholders, and the Analytics team to enhance long-term capability and performance.
You will be - Skills and Responsibilities:
* Leading the deployment of strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain Excellence programme (e.g., network transformation and EDI rollout).
* Partnering with analytics to investigate challenges, build business cases, and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
* Driving continuous improvement across supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, supplier engagement, and customer outcomes.
* Acting as the operational lead for project implementation, ensuring coordination across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Programme teams.
* Building strong collaborative relationships with Commercial teams and supplier partners to enhance trading decisions and supply chain excellence.
About you - Requirements to be considered:
* Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within retail or FMCG.
* Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
* Commercial awareness and an understanding of how supply chain performance drives trading and profitability.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
* Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability, with experience in process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
