Job Title: Trainee Fire and Security Engineer Location: Liverpool Salary: £15,667.20 Monday to Friday – 40 hours a week (Possible night shift) We are advertising this role on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the worlds largest privately held, integrated FM companies. This is a three year apprenticeship program to become an established Fire and Security Engineer for CITY FM working under the CBES contract. Must have full UK driving license and ability to work night shift. Key Accountabilities: Working to understand and deliver British Standards practices. Carry out the Installation, service, maintenance and fault diagnosis of Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems, including knowledge of I.P networking for these systems. Completing daily work sheets Use of electronic systems Completing timesheets and job reports to a high standard. Dedication to the on-call rota - call out will be dependent on department placement requirements (Install/service) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The candidate should have the following qualifications: Maths and Science (preferably physics) at A2 level (A-C) or SQA Higher (A-B) English at GCSE (A -C) or National 5 (Scotland). Alternatively, you may already be experienced within a technical role, and hold a minimum of an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
