We are looking for an enthusiastic Governance Officer to support the successful delivery of the governance services across the business. Working as part of the Governance Team you will be involved in a wide range activity that support the delivery of effective board and committee management including drafting reports, taking minutes, maintaining registers, analysis and collation of information. In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Governance Officer will involve: Monitor compliance of the business with the Citizen Governance Framework and associated processes. Set up and maintain office systems in support of the effective management of the team and accurate and appropriate record keeping, including maintaining governance registers. Attend designated boards and committees to provide advice and to produce accurate and comprehensive minutes. Support the Governance and Audit Manager in providing advice to colleagues on governance approaches and documents to ensure arrangements satisfy Citizen’s legal and regulatory arrangements regarding decision To communicate effectively and professionally with other sections and divisions of Citizen, external agencies, board members and customers, providing high quality standards of customer care. Ensure that all issues relating to work issued by the Governance & Assurance Team are treated with the utmost confidence. As Governance Officer we need you to have: The ability to work to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy meeting multiple priorities Experience of using computer packages such as WORD, Excel and outlook The skill to produce Board and Committee minutes and provide an excellent customer focussed service.
