The role
As an Engineering Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll have the opportunity to lead and shape multi-disciplinary projects from concept design through to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). You'll drive innovation, develop strategic capabilities, and manage a dynamic team, making a real impact by delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Day-to-day, you'll manage and control complex engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration of multi-discipline tasks and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
* Lead and manage multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering projects efficiently and on time.
* Foster collaboration across engineering and other functional teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with customers to support project development and resolve technical challenges.
* Oversee the technical aspects of engineering outputs to ensure alignment with project scope.
* Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices, promoting a culture of ethics and safety within the team.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Engineering Manager
* Proven experience as a principal engineer, with strong leadership and management skills, including experience managing multi-discipline teams across various project types.
* Demonstrated ability to manage fixed-price projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and delivering results.
* Experience working in highly regulated industries.
Qualifications for the Engineering Manager
* Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
