Main duties of the job
The post-holder is responsible for undertaking and recording a comprehensive nursing assessment and planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of evidence-based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.
The post-holder is expected to deliver care without direct supervision and is accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
The post-holder is expected to teach and supervise more junior staff, students, and the non-registered nursing workforce.
The post-holder is accountable for care or any omissions of care that he/she delegates to others.
The post-holder is expected to act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* NMC registered (or about to qualify)
Experience
* Experience (through placement or employment) in an acute clinical environment
* Experience in the specialty may be an advantage
