SEN Teaching Assistant - SEMH - Canterbury
Full-time, immediate start - Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 3.30pm - £83.33 per day

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant within the Canterbury area to support students with SEMH.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in specialised support units and provide one-to-one assistance to students, helping to guide and nurture their academic and emotional development.
Role & Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Deliver personalised support and guidance to students with diverse educational and emotional needs.
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Personalised Education Plans (PEPs).
* Effectively manage behaviour using a pupil-centric approach in line with the school's behaviour policies and each student's PEP/IEP.
* Motivate and encourage students, using positive behaviour management techniques to support their progress.
* Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to foster student development and support growth.
