Job Description: Healthcare Assistant – Endoscopy (Bank Shifts) Cromwell Hospital (Kensington, SW5 0TU) £16.21ph Our purpose built endoscopy houses the latest technology including video endoscopy. We provide a range of upper and lower therapeutic and investigative procedures for our patients to include; Argon Beam Therapy, Bronchoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Cystoscopy, and more. We are now recruiting for bank healthcare assistants to join our clinical team. Role Overview: Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing Outpatient and Inpatient services. The Hospital has 150 beds, 6 theatres, and full intensive care facilities. You shall help foster a supportive working environment and maintenance of staff morale through mutual regard and respect recognising and valuing contributions from individuals within the ward team. What you’ll do: As an Healthcare Assistant you will be working within our Endoscopy Suite,. Following appropriate training, you will be responsible for the decontamination area making sure that the endoscopes are cleaned, disinfected and stored up to a high standard. You will also contribute in the delivery of care to the patients by assisting the team inside the treatment rooms and in recovery. What you’ll bring: Experience on a ward or outpatient setting. Venepuncture skills/phlebotomy skills. Competent in written and oral English.
