About our service
Our service is a Registered Residential care home situated in a residential street in the
Beeston
area of
Nottingham, there are two units on the site one with 14 beds and a smaller unit with 6 beds, you would be working between both units. The homes offer ideal living environments for adults with a learning or physical disability, meeting their personal care needs while supporting independent living and the development of life skills.
The home offers specialist
24 hour residential
and
nursing care
for people who have extensive and complex support needs, including those with a sensory impairment.
The Role
We are looking for a Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our passionate and supportive team. To work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care homes, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times. - You'll carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming, also laundry duties.
It'll be your responsibility to ensure that all areas including communal areas such as dining rooms, lounges and lavatories are kept to a high standard and comply with infection control guidelines.
This role is varied so no two days will be the same! - All employees of Ambient Support have the responsibility to comply with the company's Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures at all time
About you
You don't need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications, all you need for this rewarding role is the will to make an impact treating our residents with compassion and dignity .
