Position: Surfacing Operations Support

Salary: Up to £30,000

The Role:
They are seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations Support professional to join their team. Reporting directly to the Ops Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks and maintaining efficient processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Ops Director with day-to-day activities and administrative tasks.
2. Coordinate tasks with team members and external stakeholders.
3. Provide support to commercial managers by gathering and organizing information, including site visits and maintaining records.
4. Utilize software tools such as Eque 2 and Evaluate after initial training.
5. Continuously develop through a Personal Development Plan (PDP) provided by the company.
Requirements:
1. Experience or understanding of the asphalt industry or construction plant operations.
2. Strong negotiation skills to ensure best value for money when dealing with suppliers.
3. Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and email.
4. Ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative.
5. Must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship will not be available.
6. Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in record-keeping and documentation.
8. Clean driving licence is essential.
