STOPAIDS – a collaborative, UK-based network bringing 30 years of experience working on the HIV response to the broader global health space – is seeking a Finance Administrator to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities Assisting in managing finance queries via the email account. Regular posting of income and expenditure entries to Xero Accounts. Assisting with month-end management accounts as required, and with year-end procedures. Processing expense payments, including reconciliation. Raising payments via Cooperative Online Business Banking. Raising invoices for services and projects. Assisting with credit control and chasing debtors. Raising Purchase Requisition Forms (PRFs). Processing supplier invoices, ensuring services have been received or contracted prior to payment. Coding supplier invoices and obtaining the necessary approvals. Managing and administering the STOPAIDS membership fee invoicing and collection annually. Maintaining financial files and spreadsheet records. Managing the filing, storage, archiving, and security of documents, ensuring compliance with all Data Protection requirements and responsibilities. Supporting the development, production, and implementation of Finance process documents. Monthly credit/debit card reconciliation. Ensuring the safeguarding of all STOPAIDS' finances through the implementation and adherence to financial policies and procedures. Skills and Experience Knowledge of charity commission and companies house requirements. Experience working with cross-currency transactions. AAT Level 2, GCSE English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications. Proven experience working in a Finance Office, preferably within the not-for-profit sector. Proven expertise with computerised accounting systems, preferably Xero. Strong numerical skills. Highly proficient in computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft Office programs. Good editing, data collection, and record-keeping skills, with a strong analytical skill set. Benefits A 28-hour (rather than 35-hour) working week policy with no salary reductions.
