Job Title: Band 8a CYPMHS Psychologist Band : 8a Location : Warrington, Lancashire Working Hours: 37.5 An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 8a Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) Psychologist to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Warrington, Lancashire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? You will be expected to provide a highly specialist psychology service to children and young people including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes. You will contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment. You will provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate functioning as a lead specialist in forensic clinical psychology. You will be required to undertake service evaluation, audit and research. You will work as an autonomous professional within registration body guidelines and codes of conduct and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service, taking responsibility for interpreting policies within defined parameters.
