Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 3 FTE £27,310 to £29,295 depending on experience. Estimated actual salary (based on 52 weeks) £14,462 - £15,835 approximately.

Judged to be a Good School by Ofsted in April 2024, we are a mixed, non-selective 11-18 Foundation secondary school situated in the market town of Aylesbury and ten minutes from the Chiltern Hills – an area of outstanding natural beauty. Responsibilities
1. Daily operational supervision of the team of cleaning operatives.
2. Maintaining health and safety and risk assessment standards, reporting any failures.
3. Arranging work schedules, managing cover for absence of cleaning operatives.
4. Submitting cleaners’ weekly timesheets to the Finance/HR Office.
5. Monitoring cleaning duties, carrying out quality audits and monitoring performance.
6. Conducting performance appraisals of the team of cleaning operatives.
7. Taking part in the recruitment and selection process for new cleaning operatives.
8. Inducting and training new members of the cleaning team and providing toolbox talks.
9. Monitoring, managing and authorising annual leave of cleaning operatives.
10. Undertaking cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards and as directed.
About you
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning operatives to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the school. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills to deliver a safe and healthy environment for pupils and staff.
