Environmental Education Instructor
Location: Bromley, London
Salary: £23,878 (pro rata)
Contract type: Part-time, permanent
Working hours: 24 hours per week: 8am-4:30pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time Environmental Education Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on environmental education programs. The instructor will work with various age groups, from SEND schools, children to adults, delivering curriculum-based and experiential learning activities, both indoors and outdoors, as well as environmental-themed birthday parties and more.
Requirements
1. Teaching qualification or education sector experience required.
2. Able to plan, develop, and deliver environmental education programs.
3. Adapt lessons to different learning styles and ages, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.
4. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the customer base.
5. Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
6. Willingness to work in variable weather conditions.
7. Certificate in Forest School Programme Leadership (desirable, not essential).
8. Full UK Driving license.
