Overview:
Our client, a leading innovator in complex project delivery in the Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Security Industries, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on an exciting long-term project in East Lothian.
The successful candidate will join a highly motivated, inclusive and diverse team that is rapidly growing and delivering state-of-the-art strategic and tactical support on highly acclaimed projects and programmes.
Key Skills & Attributes:
1. Must have a wide range of experience in project engineering in a highly regulated & safety focused organisation. Ideally in Nuclear, Defence, MOD, Rail, Construction, Oil & Gas etc.
2. Highly skilled in the following areas:
1. Strong background in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical & Instrumentation)
2. Preparation of engineering documents
3. Able to implement and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans.
4. Technical review of contractor drawings and documents.
5. Manage technical queries in accordance with client procedures
6. CDM awareness
7. Prepare engineering changes.
8. Strong compliance expertise in relation to the application of safety, environmental and quality standards.
3. Uphold and promote company policies and procedures together with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications / Accreditations:
1. Typically, HND/HNC in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation)
2. Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or IOSH (Preferred)
3. APM preferred (not essential)

Clearance Requirements: BPSS/CTC Cleared or ability to achieve this.
