The Role
An exciting opportunity to join the Marketing and Insight Team, you’ll be part of a fun and friendly team that works closely with each other to deliver the Marketing strategy to our customers, financial advisers, and their clients.
You will be working across the Marketing centres of excellence supporting Strategy, insights, Digital experience, and Operations developing a wide set of skills to help understand how Marketing supports and drives M&G’s proposition. In the role, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders and agencies to understand the fundamentals of Marketing and how we deliver for our customers and advisers.
What will you be doing?
* Assisting the Marketing Managers who are responsible for the production and maintenance of core marketing collateral across various formats, ensuring the consistency of materials within the overall brand guidelines.
* Supporting other internal marketing projects.
* Supporting the delivery of the UK Channel marketing plan in line with the overall strategy and objectives of the business.
* Delivering reporting against performance indicators and budget on a regular basis to monitor effectiveness.
* Creating new market communication tools with a focus on digital assets including brochures, infographics, video, podcasts, and social.
* Collaborating and working together with other UK Marketing colleagues, central marketing teams, and key stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver the material and campaigns.
* Attending meetings and documenting minutes and actions.
* Ensuring that all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements.
What will I need to be successful in this role?

* Can effectively manage day-to-day work alongside apprenticeship qualification.
* Moderate understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* A proactive team player who is confident about working with others but also independently and can promptly escalate any issue and work remotely where required.
* Logical and analytical approach coupled with intelligence, passion, and a drive to learn.
Minimum Requirements
* Available to start the apprenticeship programme in September 2025.
* You must not be enrolled in another further education programme at the beginning of the programme.
* Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK.
* Living in Scotland.
* Pass in Five National 5s including English and Maths.
* Minimum of Grade C in Two Highers or equivalent.
Training Provided
As a Marketing Apprentice with M&G, you will undertake the Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face-to-face inductions and masterclasses.
Future Prospects
This is a fixed-term contract for 18 - 23 months upon which the business may decide to retain, subject to the Apprentice's performance, headcount, and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.
Salary
£22,900 per annum plus benefits.
