We are seeking a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and nurturing specialist school in Barking & Dagenham, supporting students aged 5-16 with SEMH and additional needs. The Role: Provide tailored support to students in small groups and one-to-one settings. Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement personalised learning plans. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Support students in managing their emotions and behaviours positively. Assist with classroom activities, social development, and daily routines. The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs. A calm, patient, and understanding approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to promoting inclusion and student well-being.
