Human Resources Administrator Working within a small but busy function, the post holder will be responsible for carrying out the administrative tasks which support the running of the HR function across the full employee life cycle. Whilst elements of the role are ongoing throughout the year, such as supporting recruitment processes, organising and supporting new staff through their inductions, and arranging staff health checks, the role does also offer a lot of variety to be involved in ad hoc projects and initiatives throughout the year. There are lots of policies and procedures to comply with within HR, so being highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines is crucial. The role is responsible for the administration or staff absence details, as well as ID and qualification verification of interview candidates, along with providing data to inform management decisions. Accuracy and attentional to detail are therefore key requirements of the role. The post holder will have the opportunity to work across all areas of HR, offering the opportunity for someone who may already have experience of working in HR, but may equally be of interest to a strong administrator considering a career in HR for the first time. The role includes lots of work with Microsoft office packages, particularly excel and inputting into our HR system (ITrent), so strong IT skills are required for this post and will be tested as part of the selection process.
