We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to support the HR Business Partner in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced operational environment at our Tewkesbury site. This is a wide ranging role which will involve activities including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, HR reporting, payroll instructions, first level casework, GDPR administration, coordinating and promoting engagement initiatives, maintaining employee records – to name a few. This role will also provide administrative support as needed to the General Manager which could include diary management, travel booking etc. We are offering this role on a part time basis with a maximum of 20 hours a week, flexible pattern of working can be agreed. This is a fixed term role, covering Maternity Leave, ending in December 2025. Key Responsibilities Ensuring Job adverts are live in a timely manner Onboarding: handle new starter documentation and the induction process Payroll instructions HR reporting, such as recruitment and absence data Digitising paper employee files Maintain and update employee records Creation of letters – Disciplinary, amendment to contract, absence etc. Coordinating and promoting engagement activities Case work admin such as note taking Organising meetings such as site wide round tables or individual Occupational Health. Candidate Profile Experienced in handling a diverse range of administration tasks (ideally within HR but not essential ). Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to change. Attention to detail and accuracy are really important. Demonstrate their ability to prioritise tasks, take the initiative, and understand the importance of meeting deadlines. You will have a continuous improvement approach with a “can do” demeanor. We are always open to new insights and suggestions on how we can improve our processes. To be effective in the role, you will need to be highly organised to deliver against deadlines, have an open mind and work to find good practical solutions.
