Our client, a well-respected charity, is looking for a Advice Line Worker to provide a high quality support service to IDVA and Outreach Services. This will include taking referrals, contacting clients and identifying risk and needs and uploading information to our secure case management system.
Synopsis of duties:
Take referrals and contact clients, conducting Risk Assessments and a holistic needs assessment, uploading information to the secure case management system and identifying the most suitable service for each individual.
To use assertive engagement techniques and address concerns of people referred to maximise take up of the support services.
To contact individuals referred to the HRDA (High Risk Domestic Abuse) meetings to explain the process, gather information and ascertain what the individual wants shared within the meeting. To also contact them following the meeting to feed back the outcomes.
To allocate clients to IDVA and Outreach services as appropriate, based on needs and risk.
To provide immediate safety advice when necessaryEssential requirements
An understanding and awareness of the needs of women, men and children of all ages who have experienced domestic violence
Working/volunteering in a support-focussed role
Providing support to vulnerable people under stress
Demonstrable experience of supporting individuals within the context of a helping environment, both face to face and on the telephoneSupporting Futures Consulting acts as both an agency and employer
