Royal Mail Property is seeking a Head of Facilities Management to lead FM services across our estate. You will define service standards, work with our FM partner, to monitor and improve performance, and drive value for money. This role will also shape our transition to an "intelligent client" model and improve compliance and operational efficiency across our estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and manage FM services delivered by PFSL, setting performance standards.
* Work with PFSL who are accountable for service delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
* Develop a performance management framework to track service quality and costs.
* Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless delivery and compliance across the estate.
* Propose future FM delivery models and monitor value for money.
* Responsible for FM services across 2,000 properties.
* Manages up to 2 direct reports.
Location - London, Leeds or Manchester based with UK travel - 3 days office attendance/2 remote
About you
You have extensive experience in facilities management, with a strong understanding of property compliance and service performance. You are commercially savvy, data-driven, and able to work collaboratively to improve service delivery.
Other essential skills and experience required are:
* Extensive amount of senior FM leadership experience.
* Strong knowledge of FM service standards and supplier management.
* Experience in compliance, including fire, water, asbestos, and building fabric.
* Commercially astute with experience managing high-value contracts.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
