Operational To follow Shooting Stars Nurseries cleaning, hygiene and infection control Policies and Procedures and to support the wider nursery team to ensure that these policies and procedures are adhered to. To ensure the cleanliness of the nursery premises is managed and maintained at a high standard. To ensure that additional cleaning regimes are initiated for the purposes of infection control in the event the an 'outbreak' occurs. To ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials is ordered in good time to maintain appropriate stock levels at all times. As a keyholder, you will ensure at the end of your shift that the premises are secured and alarmed in accordance with the Nursery managers instructions. Health and Safety To ensure that COSHH sheets are held, and accessible by yourself and the nursery team, for all cleaning chemicals in current use and held on site. To carry out routine health and safety checks and risk assessments relating to the processes and equipment used within you job role. To maintain hygiene and cleaning standards at all times, with reference to the Infection Control Policy and Procedure. General Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management Adhere to all company policies and procedures with regards to safeguarding and other employment related policies (for example; social networking, mobile phone, etc) Adhere to all company policies and procedures and monitor and manage other staff members' deliverance. * Hours : 10 hours per week, 2 hours each day, Monday to Friday, to be completed either before 7am or after 6.30pm.
* Requirements : Previous experience of cleaning in a professional/commercial environment is essential. Experience of cleaning in children's nurseries/schools is preferred, but not essential
* Salary : up to £11.44 dependent on age/experience.
The nursery is open all year round and is closed on Bank Holidays.
