As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch technical support. You’ll be responsible for resolving hardware faults in line with contracted services, primarily on a variety of End User technologies. Your ability to manage the ticket queue, meet SLAs, and exceed customer expectations will be essential.
While this position is based from home, you’ll travel to client sites across a large region, including Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, and Buckinghamshire. We provide a company car and fuel card to support your travel.
To be successful you will need to have experience with any of the 4 supporting technologies listed below:
* Printer – experience with hardware module replacement breakfix.
* Desktop - experience with hardware module breakfix.
* Laptop - experience with hardware module breakfix.
* Basic understanding of Image deployment & configuration.
Essential knowledge Required:
* Basic understanding of MS Windows.
* Min 1-year experience end user devices hardware support.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
* Ability to follow remote advanced technical instruction or support.
* Willingness to submit to BPSS vetting.
Desirable knowledge:
* Laptop and/or Desktop manufacture accreditation (Dell, HP, Lenovo).
* SC Clearance.
