We are looking for an Inventory Manager to join our inventory and warehouse team that is supporting one of our key retail clients. If you are an experienced inventory specialist or manager who would like to leave a mark on the global company it is a perfect opportunity as we are going through digital transformation focusing on process optimisation. You will achieve this through your expertise and proactiveness and with the support of 3 internal and external direct reports while collaborating closely with managers responsible for hardware configuration and transportation. Location: Milton Keynes, you are expected to come to the warehouse/office a minimum of 4 times a week. Responsibilities Monitors, reports on and ensures systems are in place to manage inventory levels. Proactively looks for opportunities to improve systems and processes. Develops and executes replenishment strategies and facilitates or conducts physical inventories and cycle counts. Analyzes and works with Supply Chain, business and other colleagues to correct cycle count discrepancies and other inventory issues. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy (by comparing stock numbers and other listed information with catalogues, manuals, parts lists and similar references). Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry. Manages inventory and stock control team of 3 internal and external resources. Monitors and tracks customer SLA reporting and results, ensuring that we meet expectations and do not fail an agreed SLA targets. Qualifications Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Inventory Control and/or Inventory Management. Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Power Bi, etc.) and systems such as Quickbase, SAP or similar. Proven experience in understanding and optimising process. Good business English skills (Written and spoken). We are Armed Forces friendly.
