Job Purpose We are seeking an additional Corporate HR Business Partner to join our expanding Business Partnering team. The post-holder will assist the Human Resources Manager of HR Business Partnering in establishing and developing collaborative working relationships with senior managers to understand the key performance issues and associated people requirements to deliver the current change management agenda and future organisational challenges. The post-holder will lead HR projects either on a Team or EA wide basis, providing HR expertise in improvement and change programmes with significant people impacts. The post-holder will also work with the wider HR team and with senior management to provide business focussed HR solutions to support the provision of high quality, productive and innovative services across the organisation. The post-holder will have responsibility for providing support and advice to both the wider HR team and managers on a range of HR areas including employee terms and conditions, organisational change, and complex employment issues to provide an efficient and effective HR service. Develop resources and signpost senior management on practice, policy and application which support EAs strategic vision in the spirit of continuous improvement. Essential Criteria Hold a bachelors degree (QCF Level 6) or an equivalent or higher qualification and three years experience of providing HR specialist advice and support to senior managers within complex multi-site and multi-disciplined organisation(s) OR Have five years experience of providing HR specialist advice and support to senior managers within complex multi-site and multi-disciplined organisation(s) Demonstrable experience of leading on and directly supporting Senior Managers with significant change management projects and in partnership with trade union representatives Demonstrable experience of achieving successful outcomes in relation to strategic employee/ workforce issues through best practice HR interventions and innovative problem solving Demonstrable evidence of excellent communication and negotiation skills in relation to effective engagement and consultation with key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes in relation to employee/workforce change management issues The successful candidate will be required: a) To have access to a suitable vehicle (appropriately maintained and insured for Education Authority business) that will enable them to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner and thus meet this essential criterion; OR b) Be able to provide sufficient information on the application form that will satisfy the employer that he/she has access to an appropriate alternative form of transport that will enable them to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner and thus meet this essential criterion.
