Our small, friendly and well-established nursery seeks a variety of full-time or part-time early years professionals to join our team.
Our nursery has a “Good” Ofsted rating, and our ethos is based around learning through play. In this way, we support children to grow in confidence, so that they can achieve their full potential.
Requirements of Nursery Practitioner Role:
Warm, enthusiastic, and hard-working team players who can engage well with children and work in partnership with parents to support children in every way possible on their learning journeys. We will carry out enhanced DBS checks and references.
Responsibilities of Nursery Practitioner Role:
1. Part of a team responsible for the provision of a stimulating, caring, and safe learning environment in a 40-place nursery.
2. Identify and support children's unique developmental needs.
3. Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of all children.
4. Have key worker responsibility to review the children’s progress regularly and share this with their parents.
5. Work in partnership with parents and/or carers, colleagues, or other professionals to meet the individual needs of our children.
6. Observe, plan, and assess each child’s development and learning within the EYFS framework.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary depending on experience. 26 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank and public holidays.
