As a Sound & Lighting technician you will be working on a range of events of varying scale. You will be based on site and will assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of different events such as talks, DJ set ups, product launches, charity events, gala dinners and small intimate live performances.
This role is part time 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Operation of Sound
* Operation of lights
* Assisting the events team on all AV needs they have
* Maintaining kit to a high standard
* Liaising with Venue GMs that all their AV needs are being met
* Insuring all events have adequate tech cover
* Reporting to the Group Technical Manager on all expenditure of kit and crew
Qualifications:
* Have strong experience in the set up and operation of audio and AV equipment, specifically within a corporate or hospitality environment
* Are passionate about events and technology in equal measure and are keen to progress their career in event production
* Have knowledge of Digico Digital mixers, Pioneer DJ kit, Qsys Systems and Avolites lighting consoles desirable
* Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and excellent team players
