Job Description
We're looking for an Archaeologist Project Manager to project manage the testing and development of an Archaeological Research Centre (ARC) concept - a long-term archaeological presence centred on participatory fieldwork experiences and community engagement - on the Attingham estate. This would operate in support of our visitor offer and particularly in association with the development of the new Attingham Active Outdoors Hub.
You'll be helping the National Trust to implement a core part of our charitable purpose, that the historic environment is relevant and accessible for everyone, for ever.
Salary £36,621 pro rata. Fixed term contract 30 hours per week for 10 months

The Attingham Estate contains a wealth of significant archaeological features, ranging from prehistory right up to WWII and including significant Roman archaeology associated with the city of Wroxeter,
You'll be part of the Attingham active outdoor hub project team, a multidisciplinary team, including, archaeologist, curator, fundraiser, estate manager, project manager and property staff.
Your contractual place of work will be the National Trust regional hub office at Attingham Park. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings. We'll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at Attingham for 70% of your working week....
