We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Sunderland. This role is perfect for a psychology graduate eager to support students’ learning and development in a dynamic classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse needs.
* Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and report on student behavior and progress to inform teaching strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field.
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting, is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
