Job overview
The successful post holder will be involved in the delivery of multicentre trials, in-house, national and international phase I, II, III and IV haematology trials, primarily with the Lymphoma/Myeloma Team.
The post holder will help coordinate patient participation in clinical trials, ensuring that trial-specific investigations are undertaken according to the protocol. Responsibilities include administrative aspects of the trial such as creating and maintaining site files, formulating worksheets, collecting trial data, and completing case report forms.
Main duties of the job
* Work with the Lymphoma/Myeloma Team and wider haematology team to recruit patients onto clinical trials and undertake clinical responsibilities.
* Lead and maintain an overview of various clinical trials.
* Sample collection, processing, and shipment.
* Data collection and entry into various sponsor-led portals.
* Administrative duties including organizing and attending study meetings, maintenance of Investigator Site File, and regulatory review and approval.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
• Liaise with the clinical team to ensure trial-specific investigations are conducted according to the protocol.
• Undertake agreed procedures as appropriate, including venipuncture, vital signs checks, and others, ensuring compliance with trial and Trust procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of verbal, written, and computerized information.
• Liaise with trial pharmacy to coordinate availability and dispensing of trial drugs.
• Process blood samples according to the trial-specific lab manual and organize the storage and shipment of protocol-specific samples.
• Work in accordance with all regulatory requirements including local SOPs, Good Clinical Practice, and others.
Organisational Responsibilities
• Complete case report forms accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare documents for regulatory review and approval.
• Create and maintain the file of current protocols and patient information sheets.
• Organize and prepare documentation for audit and monitoring visits.
Education and Training
• Identify personal training and educational needs.
• Attend investigator meetings and conferences as required.
GENERAL
• Observe rules, policies, and procedures of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of personal information related to patients and staff.

Education and Qualification
* Evidence of continuous personal, professional, and academic development.
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge and experience with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Previous experience within haematology, oncology, or research.
Skills and Competencies
* Clinical skills: phlebotomy, ECG, vital signs.
* Data collection, entry, and filing.
* Ability to work in a team.
