What you’ll do at work
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and achieve a recognised qualification in Business Administration. You'll engage in outbound outreach, manage follow-ups, and execute re-engagement campaigns to secure sales meetings.
Purpose of Role:
To support the Business Development Manager in generating new business opportunities for the Group’s services by building and nurturing relationships with prospective clients. The successful candidate will engage in outbound outreach, manage follow-ups, and execute re-engagement campaigns to secure sales meetings.
Key Duties:
* Research, identify and conduct multi-channel outbound outreach to initiate conversations with prospective clients
* Manage follow-up process for prospective clients that have demonstrated an interest in our Group services
* Execute re-engagement campaigns to nurture cold or lapsed leads
* Build and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients usings a consultative business approach
* Qualify leads based on Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline for Group services
* Book and coordinate meetings for Business Development Manager, including preparing background notes, updating CRM systems with outcome and supporting with the latter stages of the sales process
* Maintain and update lead database and CRM systems with accurate details
* Track and report on engagement levels, performance and outreach strategy outcomes
* Assist in analysing sales and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities and continuously improve outreach strategies
* Attend industry events with the Business Development Manager (or wider team) to represent the company and identify potential business opportunities
* Support event co-ordination; including invites, follow ups and lead capture
* Support administrative tasks related to business development
* Undertake any and all AML activities and/or training in line with the Company AML policy and procedures, so that client work can be acted upon appropriately and in a timely manner
* Ensure that all data is maintained accurately and completely at all times, so that it can be used and relied upon to inform effective decisions and actions

Eligibility: To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must have lived in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for at least three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
* Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.

Your training plan
You'll engage in hands-on projects, receive expert guidance, and build a portfolio that showcases your talents and gain a recognised Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, with attendance to Milton Keynes College.
