Job Description
Purpose of the post:
Eccleston Mere Primary School is a two-form entry community school, providing education to children aged 2-11. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dedicated, talented Site Supervisor to be responsible for the maintenance of our school.
The successful candidate will:
1. Support the vision and values of the school
2. Have good communication skills
3. Understand and commit to working within Health & Safety legislation
4. Be willing to undertake any training required
5. Be flexible in their approach to work
6. Have experience of general maintenance and DIY
7. Be a team player with the ability to work individually using their own initiative
8. Be able to follow instructions and direction
9. Be able to undertake duties to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance and tidiness of the building and outdoor area
10. Open and close the building and ensure the safety of the area for staff and pupils
11. Have some general gardening duties to be undertaken on a regular basis
12. Be able to operate machinery, including tools
The post will require the ability to undertake physical tasks, manual handling, work at heights and lone working.
