Can you lead the Hawkins Hub our CMLD ARP and ensure that the pupils within are supported, challenged and succeed?
Do you want to change the lives of young people and increase the number of children from Barking Abbey in the top Universities and working with top employers?
Do you want to be part of a large SEN team with two ARPs and a mainstream provision?
Are you prepared to work hard with exceptional young people and staff committed to going the extra mile?
This role is to lead the Hawkins Hub (CMLD ARP) which is based at the Longbridge Road campus. We need an unusual person who is prepared to champion the pupils, forge strong relationships with our pupils and families, lead the team allocated to the ARP and work collaboratively with the wider teaching community to share best practice and to support quality first teaching. The key to success will be the skillful managing of each pupil’s timetable to ensure that they are prepared for mainstream lessons, supported in mainstream lessons and succeed in mainstream lessons. They are overwhelmingly polite, respectful, considerate and have a fantastic thirst for learning. They uphold our school motto each and every day and they in return need the very best.
