We are looking for an Energy Portfolio Manager (Senior Position Manager) to join our team based at Westwood in Coventry. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working model - paying from £49,995 to £63,832 along with a market leading benefits package.
Here's what you'll be doing
E.ON Energy Markets UK is at the heart of EEM and UK Commercial Services, driving activities in wholesale commodity markets, structured trading, forecasting, and portfolio strategy. Our mission is to buy and sell energy-related products at optimal prices for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Integrate Target Hedge Positions with traded and carried positions for accurate daily valuation.
* Ensure updates to hedging strategies are reflected in the Target Hedge position.
* Identify opportunities for economic transfer of volumes within customer and asset portfolios.
* Maintain a comprehensive database of hedged volumes and prices, tracking volume-weighted average prices.
* Ensure all positions comply with E.ON UK's risk policies and limits.
* Create an accurate view of the value added by forward market actions.
* Interface with Sales Trading for efficient and timely trading.
* Prepare and lead the Morning Market meeting, presenting latest positions and strategies.
* Maintain the accuracy of EEM's ETRM system, collaborating with the Allegro team.
* Liaise with Portfolio Strategy and Structured Trading teams as a business unit interface.
* Support and cover the Lead Position Manager when necessary.

* Strong knowledge of commodity portfolios, hedge types, and pricing methodologies.
* Ability to quickly implement changes and translate complex data into tradable products.
* Distinguish and optimise differing portfolio requirements.
* Collaborative mindset, sharing information across teams and departments.
* Composure under pressure and strong internal stakeholder communication skills.
