Claimont Health have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker.
This role will be based in the community supporting our Client who is an adult who has Motor Neurone Disease and complex health needs requiring high level of care and support at home.

You will need to have a proven track record of complex care experience and have supported clients with:
* Cerebral Palsy
* Learning Disabilities
* Medication Management
This is a 1-1 package of care during the day. Opportunities for day shifts are available.
You must hold a UK driving license and have access to a car.
Main Duties
We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers who have experience working with people with Cerebral Palsy and who are able to provide home care.
You must have/be:
* A car driver with access to a car.
* 1 year or more experience as a Complex Care Support Worker working with people with Cerebral Palsy & Learning Disabilities.
* Flexibility, maturity, independence and the very highest professional standards.
* Commitment to delivering client specific care.
* Adaptable approach to support client and family members.
* Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting.

Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 related subjects
* NVQ level 4 related subjects
* Nursery nurse qualification or similar
* Diploma in relevant health/social subject
Experience
* Significant experience in a similar role.
* Previous care experience in a health, social care, or childcare setting.
* Experience of communicating complex or sensitive information.
* Understanding of Information Governance and safeguarding.
* Experience of working in both acute and community settings.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
