Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
2. GCSE'S or equivalent (C or above) in Maths and English
Desirable criteria
1. Procurement qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Evidence of experience in a public sector distribution/medical gases role.
2. Experience and understanding of stock management processes and stock take
3. Experience of medical gas management of storage and distribution
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of training and developing other staff.
2. Experience of involvement in producing and evaluating SOPs
Knowledge
Essential criteria
1. Knowledge of hospital distribution practices
2. Knowledge of hospital procurement service including ordering and stock control
3. Knowledge of medical gases and liquid nitrogen process and procedures
4. Knowledge of audits and risk assessments
5. Demonstrates an understanding of Health and Safety policies and standards
