Job Purpose: Harpenden with travel across Hertfordshire. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management within their divisions and across the wider People function in CLCH. They will work with the divisional teams and CBU managers and monitor any arising issues or progress on improvement or strategic change plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff and staff representatives, developing trust and credibility in the division.
2. Be the first point of call for division queries and provide support.
3. Act as a bridge to the HR Operations team when queries are not resolved in a timely manner.
4. Support the HR BP in activities outlined, focusing on training, coaching, and regular communication.
5. Support HR Assistants, including managing and coaching when needed.
6. Provide strategic workforce advice and support through effective workforce planning and recruitment support based on people and business data insights.
7. Interpret and analyze data to plan targeted next steps (including KPIs on discrimination, grievances, or sickness).
8. Support culture programs across the division (effective staff involvement, team working, engagement, and staff well-being).
9. Assist in the implementation of organizational change programs (working with the OD and Culture team).
10. Help design and deliver bespoke training interventions tailored to the division, if needed.
