Job Description
1. To build and maintain a good working knowledge of MAE and equipment maintenance techniques, company products and services, and working practices, to perform all the tasks required in the role efficiently and effectively.
2. Sharing information with others to enable them to fulfil their role.
3. Using knowledge, information and skills in planning and working to improve MAE reliability.
4. Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements.
5. Identifying and eliminate root cause of unplanned downtime
6. Completing, to a high standard any planned works, Any follow-up works required
7. Identify any known / common issues / faults on MAE, with possible solutions
8. Identifying and eliminating waste through planned activities
9. Contributing to the setting of systems, procedures and work standards ensuring that they fit and/or enhance with others used in the business.
10. Design and implement small improvements to equipment.
Qualifications
11. ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant experience
(Mechanically trained personnel must have electrical awareness / safety)
12. Conversant in Microsoft office products
13. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety issues
14. Flexibility/Adaptability.
15. Strong Communication Skills.
16. Team player who demonstrates a high level of initiative.
17. Interpersonal with good communicative skills.
18. Enthusiastic, flexible approach with a willingness to learn
19. Excellent attention to detail.
20. Resilience and Stress resistant
Additional Information
You will be required to evidence your right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role.
