Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide care and support to children and young people in a residential environment, helping them with daily routines and activities.
2. Assist young people with PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism in achieving their personal and developmental goals.
3. Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment that promotes equality and well-being.
4. Encourage independence and help develop essential life skills through engaging activities and outings.
5. Support personal care needs and be involved in physical intervention when required.

6. Are compassionate and dedicated to working with children and young people with additional needs.
7. Are proactive, patient, and committed to helping young people overcome challenges.
8. Enjoy working in residential care and are enthusiastic about promoting social and emotional development.
9. Are creative, flexible problem solvers with a positive approach.
10. Are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
11. Possess strong communication skills, particularly when working with children with specific communication needs.
12. Hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent).
13. Are keen to work towards further qualifications, fully funded by us.
